Problem Statement : In one of the ECC system, there was a client copy made using export method, some of the business processes were throwing error C$308 error right after the client copy. Upon investigation, it was found that the client copy process did not import the entries relevant to SAPScripts/Texts.

In some cases, you might face below mentioned error message in Livecache, you may follow the below steps to overcome the error message.

loader.LoaderError: [-25008] Logon failure; previous user's (SUPERDBA) connection was restored.
ERROR : liveCache not started

This error generally occurs when the user id, password and the necessary settings  stored in \conf\.upc are invalid, when the livecache is started from LC10, remote command is executed from SAP level using the settings available in .upc file. Hence it is important to maintain valid user and password using below command.

 

Syntax : dbmcli -d (DBSID) -n (hostname) -u control,(controlpwd) user_sap SAP(DBSID),(SAPDBSID password)

sample : dbmcli -d LPP -n abwvds1 -u control,control user_sap SAPLPP,findme

{fcomment} {flike} {fshare}
