1. Oracle 10 g database was exported and imported into 11g using R3load (Unicode Conversion)

2. Environment is based on MSCS and OFS

Solution :

During our analysis, we found that the instance at MSCS/OFS level was failing, however, we were able to start the instance and database from OS level. (i.e. Startup and Services.msc).

Since we were able to bring up the database at the OS level, we did not really bother about the failure at  MSCS/OFS level, we left it as it is and continued with the import. In this case, for some reason, at a regular interval, ORACLE was gracefully shutting down every 60 minutes without any error attached to it.

In order to resolve the issue, we tried to correct the problem at OFS level post which the cluster service became stable. The database instance also became stable after resolving the issue at OFS/MSCS level. Thought of sharing it with the community, so that the necessary importance is given to the service created at OFS level.
